Scharffen
Berger Cake
A moist chocolate cake made with Scharffen Berger's cocoa powder and 70%
chocolate covered in a bittersweet, truffle ganache.
Old-Fashioned
This bittersweet cake is perfectly offset with
the sweetness of the marshmallow-like boiled icing. Cherry-on-top perfect for
all celebrations.
Tomboy Cake
Called a Tomboy because we wanted to make a traditional party cake that didn't
stand on ceremony. Three layers of chocolate cake filled with vanilla
buttercream.
Lemon Debutante
The complement to our Tomboy cake, our Debutante
consists of three layers of vanilla sponge cake, homemade lemon curd and very
light lemon buttercream, and finished with a pretty scalloped piping and a
little sugar flower.
Bumblebee
Yellow cake with chocolate frosting remains the
American standard for birthdays. Our yellow cake is buttery and delicious, and
the frosting is pure Scharffen Berger goodness. Serve with vanilla or
strawberry ice cream.
Gingerbread
Our all-time best cake. Made with a dark stout
beer, molasses, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom then topped with a sweet
cream cheese frosting.
Chocolate Cream
Layer Cake
Four layers of chocolate cake filled with
lightly sweetened Straus Family Creamery whipped cream and Scharffen Berger
cacoa nibs, covered in a bittersweet truffle ganache. This cake is not too
sweet and is superb with fresh berries.

Simple and delicious: pâte sucrée filled with
100% organic lemon curd.
